Introduction
City Model College a co-educational Islamic secondary school is the secondary school section of City Model Schools. The School is established in response to the challenges posed by modern education and the degenerating moral values in our society.
It is aimed at incorporating Western education with Islamic teachings thereby creating an Islamic environment for the attainment of the pleasure of Allah.
The School regards knowledge as a trust from Almighty Allah as so must be impacted and made use of according to His will.
The School regards knowledge as an act of worship, which must be pursued for total submission to the will of Almighty Allah. City Model college is designed to provide well rounded education to prepare the students for the challeges of the outside world and the hereafter.
Our Objectives
The objectives of City Model Schools among others are:
To Provide an excellent all round education with a highly developed curriculum
To impact reverence and respect for Islamic values
To produce high premium students capable of applying their individual potentials guided by Islamic principles
To strenghten the sense of Islamic dignity among the Muslim youths and inspired them with cogent Proof of the supremacy of Islam
To inculcate in student the basic qualities of leadership, initiative and creativity, moulding them into principled God-fearing and responsible member of the society
In addition to setting high academic standard, City Model College believes in discipline, good behaviour and development of student's personality in accordance with Islamic principles.
Subjects
The school curriculum is specially designed and packaged by distinguished educationist and experienced school administrators to to provide comprehensive secondary education at both the JSS and SSS levels, in line with the National policy on Education.
The curriculum is geared towards the cognitive (mental), psychomotor (physical), affective (Social) and the moral development of the learner.

In line with the Federal Ministry of Education guideline, there will be three terms:
First Term: September - December
Second Term: January - April
Third Term: May - July
In addition to mid term and end of term holidays, the school observe all approved public holidays. Parents are served notices of such public holidays.
