Introduction
Welcome to City Model College. Admission into City Model College is open to all qualified candidates. The school does not discriminate against pupils on ground of religion, tribe, race or colour, both in admission process and curriculum implementation.

Points of Entry
There are two main point of entry.
Students entering JSS1 must have performed satisfactorily at the school common entrance examination.
Students entering SSS1 must have performed satisfactorily at the Junior Secondary School Certificate Examination (JSCE)
General Admission Requirement
Student will be carefully selected in line with the basic admission requirements as follows.
- All students seeking admissio into City Model College should submit a duly completed admission form.
- The student must have performed satisfactorily at the school entrance examination
- Student seeking admission into SSS1 class must have performed satisfactorily at the junior Secondary School Certificate Examination
- The student must have received a positive recommendation from the head of teacher of his/her previous school
- Student seeking transfer to City Model College will have a written administered to them
In addition to 1,2,3,4 and 5, the student on transfer will be required:
- To submit photocopies of their previous result from their former school
- To bring Transfer Certificate from their former school
Method of Application
- Intending students should apply for admission form from the administrative office for a fee.
- Completed admission form should be returned to the school within the date specified
Withdrawal
Parents or guardian wishing to withdraw their wards from the school are required to apply in writing to the Group Director of Studies stating reasons for doing so.
The student will be expected to pay all outstanding debts and return all school properties in his/her possession after which transfer Certificate will be issued by the school
Re-Admission
Any former students previously withdrawn from the college could be re-admitted upon written application and consideration.
